This was a game to blood in new players for Ching and it was agreed that
it would be played in four quarters. The game did not start well for
Ching by conceding the first try in 2 minutes. Ching rallied and 2 trys
to Richard Akinlade on the wing gave Ching a lead of 10-5 at the end of
the first quarter. The second quarter was untidy but ended 15-5 with a
good try to Mat Marie. The third quarter had Richard back on the wing
and scoring 2 more trys with Stanford getting one back to leave the
score at 25-10. The last quarter was honours shared with a good try to
Stanford and Richard getting his 5th and last try right at the end. A
good game for Ching to use for their new players with appearances by
Claud, Charlie, Abbas, Ahmet, Jordan and Ian.
