Very pleased so far with everything about the team. They have grown up massively over the past few months both on & off the field, and I believe that everybody involved is enjoying this season, from the players, to the parents to the coaches. The fact that they remain UNBEATEN in the league and are through to the quarter final in the Essex Cup, goes to show that a winning team is also a happy team. Credit must go to the WHOLE squad, as we no longer seem to have weaker players, and the players that have recently arrived are growing with every game. Players such as Jack, Alex, Josh, Harry and Marcus were not first picks at the start of the season, but have now forced their way into the starting XV, and credit must go to all of them. Congratulations to Alex for scoring his first try for the team in our recent game against Southend, that we eventually won 60-14, that keeps us at the top of our league. Training has been good, with the use of the Chingford Foundation School new Sports Hall, that has meant that we have been able to keep the little darlings dry & cut down on the washing, which always helps. The boys have worked hard in training, hence the turn around in results, but we do need every player to attend every training session as competition for places hots up.
